I work close to The Greek Bistro. After hearing multiple coworkers mention this restaurant, I had to go. You start with some homemade hummus and warm pita bread. We ordered grilled octopus as an appetizer. I have never had grilled octopus but holy smokes, it was AMAZING. So tasty!!! I ordered a falafel pita for lunch and it was amazing. Not dry and the tahini sauce that they served on the pita was to die for. The restaurant was clean and the staff was nice. I will definitely be going back!

BEST GREEK! Authentic and delicious - wish I took pictures but was too hungry. Started with warm pita bread and homemade hummus then got brought out a generous sample of their lemon-chicken soup. I've never had it before but it was very good! I had the Greek salad and falafel. The salad was perfect and included everything you'd desire on a traditional Greek salad, but it was so big, had to take half of it home. Homemade falafel were amazing - so crispy and flavorful and the tahini sauce they're served with is the perfect compliment. I've had plenty falafel before and haven't had any this good. Boyfriend had the gyro wrap & he said he's never had better. Must've loved it too because he finished the whole thing. The gyro came with steak fries (which I'm not crazy about) but they were amazing as well and I ate most of those. Got to chat a little with the owner, Daniel and it's so refreshing to have a great meal with great service be backed by such a humbled owner. I love supporting the small business over a national establishment any day. It was our first visit but it won't be our last!

Always happy with the service here. Nick is a great waiter. I think that's his name. Food is so much better than the Kebob house around here.

Eat here about once a week. Small and cozy. Love the lemon soup. You got to try it! Prices fair. Great for lunch or early dinner. I like the chicken platter. Everything is good that i have tried. Check it out for yourself.

Nice cozy restaurant. They serve you complementary warm pitas with hummus when you sit down; which is pretty awesome. This is a great lunch spot if you want a quick gyro or souvlaki wrap. I've had the omelet, gyro, the soup, etc. They were all satisfying. Was it the best i've ever had? No, but they're very good. The service is good, free pita/hummus is very good and I'll definitely be back for more lunches.

Great place, nice staff, really reasonable. I've lived in the area for 18 years, and for whatever reason never went in. That said this place is there for as long as I can remember and now I know why. We had some souvlaki platter, chicken gyro, and a chicken lemon soup that was "to die for" as they say. You can't beat it at these prices - we'll be back!

Half an hour lunch? No problem!!!! I went out for a bite with my peeps from work and one of them recommended this place. She is a Yelper too so I took her word. We were welcomed from what I believe is the owner, pretty cool guy he directed us to our table. The waiter brought to the table hummus and pita bread which I love. I went for the pork pita wrap and fries. My friend had the Gyro and soups for an extra dollar. The place is nice super clean and the service was good and fast. My only complain is the food was regular nothing really crazy. I guess if you have a half an hour lunch and need a quick bite this is your place!

First time and I am inlove. Awesome AUTHENTIC Greek food. Price is $12-$25 a plate. They serve you complimentary hummus with pita, which was a surprise that I loved. I got the Gyro platter and had the lemon potatoes with it. Great portions couldn't even finish and my boyfriend and I both got boxes. Dinner plates come with soup or a salad option, I got the Avgolemonogo lemon and chicken Greek soup (cream based) which turns out was my favorite item! The tzatziki is homemade and really creamy and heavenly. The staff was attentive and kept making sure we were happy with our meal and offered to let me "try" the soup first which I thought was really nice. Would I go back to give it a second chance? Yes, hopefully next weekend

So we dine at this restaurant often now. Nick by far is the best server. He brings it. Knows his regulars by name, makes sure they are happy and satisfied and never hesitates to make solid recommendations. Love the complimentary hummus and pita appetizer, which appears to be bottomless. Still can't get enough of the Lemon Chicken Rice Soup. They sell it by the quart. Get some. You will be happy when it's in your fridge and you want some warm delicious soup for lunch or a light dinner. My husband is addicted to the Gyro Platter or Sandwich. Both are great. I love the Falafel Sandwich or Platter. Again, both are great. This restaurant has many traditional Greek dishes and has lots of seafood dishes that I've never heard of before. Still my "go to" Greek Restaurant.

The food was good, but they need to make sure that insects and hair do not get to the foods they bring to the table. I went there for lunch and experienced a insect and hair in the hummus. So, i had the lunch special and it was ok. Sorry, I am not coming back...

My first time as customer. My friend and I ordered a Spinach pie. Each piece has parchment paper or small cardboard from PYLLO box. I know errors happen but unusual to find it in both pieces? Owner / Manager never addressed issue to give us an incentive to return, Outside area was very well kept and pleasant.

Sorry to report a bad experience at this restaurant. First to arrive on a Thursday but a party of nine was preoccupying our waitress.she was nice, but absented herself after we ordered. had cold sampler platter which was on a par with other greek restaurants. But what they did with the whole snapper was a shame. overcooked in a lemon sauce that had also been overcooked to the point of bitterness. couldn't eat it.

When you come to Greek Bistro, expect great service and food. I came on a random Sunday and wasn't expecting much. However, I was blown away by the service. My water was always full, the food wait time was minimal, and the waiters even gave us free soup of the day. The waiters were great. The food was delicious. I ordered the falafel appetizer. It was one of the best falafel I have tasted (and great portion) and free hummus and warm pita made it even better. I loved the falafel so much, I ordered a falafel wrap and that was good too. Good prices for the amount of good they give. Definitely coming back again.

This just didn't do it for me... Everything was okay but just okay. There are other Greek restaurants in the area that I think are better and have a nicer atmosphere. I'm not saying the food was bad but just not up to par.

Went for my first time Sunday evening after a beach walk with a friend, about 8:00PM. Nice layout and atmosphere. Love the menu, plenty of variety for many types of diets. Service was great. Was given a free basket of hummus and pita. Really delish! Than had the stuffed grape leaves. We asked if they were served hot before ordering and yes there were! Had forgotten how good these can be. So used to the cold, mushy variety. These were really really tasty. We also tried the chicken lemon soup and Greek side salad. Also both very nice. Got the basic gyro. Very satisfying. Could only eat half, took the rest home. Would def. go back. Filling meal for $10 ea.

"Woohoo! As good as it gets!" is pretty much the perfect response. Easy parking in private lot, no need for valet or searching for a spot as there are plenty spots 5/5. Tacky Greek pictures lined the wall which is exactly what I want when I go to a small family owned Greek restaurant 5/5. We were greeted and seated promptly. We received complimentary hummus and pita, which was a 4/5 wasn't the absolute best but I'll take it over a lot of other Greek places hummus. We received the lemon/chicken soup with the purchase of our entree, which was amazing 5/5. I had the macaroni and beef (Pastitsio) entree which I'll rate as follows: Sides (vegetables, lemon potato wedge, rice) 5/5 Portion 5/5 (I don't think I've ever had to box food to take home before today) Taste of main course 5/5 DEElicious My date ordered the gyro platter. The portion for this was amazing and I also stole a few bites and will give it a 5/5 as well. This too came home. And our waitress was absolutely fantastic, this young lady gets a 5/5 as well. They've got a winner in her. I will return!

Unimpressed. Stopped in for lunch yesterday while I was having work done on my vehicle a few blocks down the street. Service was prompt and friendly. I never had an empty water glass, the staff of three who were there at the time worked well together to help with each other's tables, although the place was never more than 25% full the whole time I was there. I got a table right away and my server was quick to take my order and delivery the food. Food was average. The pita and hummus was good. Pita was hot and tasted very fresh. Hummus wasn't too oily and had a good flavor. The Greek salad had waaaaaayy too much cheese, which was rather flavorless and hardly tasted like feta. It also lacked olives, which didn't bother me because I don't like them, but if it's a Greek salad and the menu says olives, then it should olives. The gyro platter was a stack of what tasted liked some kind of processed meat that had been sitting under a heat lamp, french fries, a few pieces of pita, and tzatziki. This is what it said on the menu, but I wrongly assumed that "platter" meant a little something more. Also note that the blend of lamb and beef literally means that the two meats are blended together. You don't get lamb and beef. You get blamb. Or leef. Whatever you'd like to call it. It's unlikely I'd go back simply because the location is not anywhere near me. But even if I found myself in the area, I'd look elsewhere.

Very good food and a friendly, family style atmosphere. The hummus is great and we ordered the Greek salad (the villager salad, without lettuce) and it was tasty. The meats and rice for the entre were also very good. Easy parking and nice overall experience. It was pretty busy when we went on a Saturday night, but no wait. They do take reservations, so you might want to call ahead on weekends.

Its easy to pass this place driving as its in a strip mall beside Original House of Pancakes just off Fed and Linton but the Yelp reviews brought me to Greek Bistro! It was dead, and I mean one table had a lady who was finished and doing her makeup and left by the time we had the Hummus. I didn't mind, my fiance thought it was nice and he said he bought out the place for us to have lunch.. Sweet! Greek Music Playing in the back round, I like that. The waiter came by poured waters and gave us some time with the large heavy Menus. Cute place only downer was the plastic tablecloths so outdated. The waiter told us the Hummus was complimentary and it was delicious and the Pita points had herbs on it reminded me of a thin crust pizza, Yummy. The Hummus was tasty and had a great flavor with garlic just perfect. He ordered the Gyro Platter (12$) and I ordered the Chicken Souvlaki (12$). The meals also come with a house salad or a soup, awesome. Two salads full of shredded Romaine lettuce and Feta Cheese, bell peppers, some onion and tomato and fresh cucumber slices it was a nice salad and the vinaigrette refreshingly delicious too. The platters had Plenty of meat on it. His Gyro seemed authentic and he ordered the rice with it instead of fries, and it was lemony and good. It comes with Pita points again and Tzatziki sauce in a cup, the meat had great seasoning flavor and the Tzatziki had the cucumber bits in it and the seasoning was really good too! One of the Best! My chicken Souvlaki Platter had what looked like grilled marinated Chicken char grilled and not shaved off the skewer like chicken Gyros but the meat was so flavorful and tender very good and the portions are huge I took a to-go Box, it came with Tzatziki sauce in a cup and Pita Points and I asked for the Greek potatoes instead of the Fries. The potatoes were oven roasted wedges and lemony and had herbs that made it outstandingly good. Five stars not for atmosphere, but amazingly delicious food, great service and affordable prices that leaves you happy to have tried good delicious food that you could Only recreate with a day's labor slaving over a stove marinating dishes. Well done Def my new stop to Eat Greek. Like the Menu says "Eat Greek Twice a Week"

Great service. The staff is super friendly and very attentive. Prices are great and you get a ton of food to take home. Falafel was big, crunchy on the outside and warm and soft in the inside. I had the Gyro Pita and brought home half of it because I was stuffed from the falafel appetizer and pita with hummus. I would definitely come back here and recommend it to anyone craving some good Greek food!

Great food and excellent service is what you can expect when you go to this place. The food was just delicious and good portions. I'm a vegetarian and so I got a Falafel wrap, which was the best darn falafel wrap I've ever had in my life, the falafel was so supple, unlike most Mediterranean places where falafel balls are like a chore to chew on. Also, a must try is the Chicken Lentil Lemon soup which my friend got and LOVED IT!! All in all, an excellent place to eat at or take out from! PS: Thank you Taylor (Manager) for letting us take out 10 minutes before closing the restaurant. :)

This place rivals Fort Lauderdale's Greek Island Taverna in terms of quality of food. Located in a relatively nondescript portion of Federal Highway (US1) in Delray just south of Linton Blvd., I stopped by to taste what other Yelpers are raving about. It was a Thursday afternoon and the place was empty. I overheard Marco, my server, mention to another patron that walked in after me that it gets busy after 6 p.m. I sat at the bar and started off with a Greek bottle of beer. They bring out pita bread and hummus. I ordered Skordalia as an appetizer, which also arrived with pita bread. Both were delicious, but next time I'll stick with the complementary hummus. My main course was a chicken kabob, which tasted really good. I could really taste the flavor in every bite. While the food is fantastic, I was virtually the only patron in the restaurant at the time. There is Greek music on in the background and the only TV in the place was playing a looped tape of an aerial view of Greece. It was kind of quiet and I felt awkward sitting there eating my food. I was hoping for a little more ambiance. The food receives five stars, while the late afternoon dining atmosphere receives two. I'm looking forward to visiting again, at night, and with a larger group of people.

Yum! Delicious food, great service, and reasonable prices. I ate at the Greek Bistro several times while on vacation in Del Ray Beach. I tried just about every appetizer and about 6 of the entrees. A couple of notes: They bring pita and hummus to each table. Most entrees come with chicken lemon soup or small Greek salad. It's a kid-friendly restaurant and while they don't have a kids menu, many of items like the chicken platter or roast chicken are kid friendly (at least my little picky eaters enjoyed them). Also, there's plenty of choice for those who are gluten-free. My favorites Appetizers: Tzatzki (yogurt dip) Flaming Cheese (Cheese is good, but cheese on fire is better!) Stuffed Grape leaves Calamari Grilled Octopus (melts in your mouth with a buttery flavor) Meatballs (Garlicy goodness) Spanakopita (Flaky spinach pie) Fried Smelts (kind of like fried sardines) Wraps: Have not tried them yet, but I know they are popular Entrees Stuffed Shrimp Scallops Roast Chicken Moussaka (layered eggplant with cream and beef) Lamb Kebob Lamb Chops (some of the best I've had) Tilapia (a large portion) Surprise: They carry a wine brand called something like "My Big Fat Greek Wine" I was expecting total disappointment, but I found the Cabernet Sauvignon and one of the whites (can't remember the varietal) to be quite good. Also they have two beers Mythos and Marathon. Marathon (a malty lager) is okay, Mythos (a refreshing larger) is superb. Disappointment: I wish they had table clothes

We ate here a few nights ago with a friend of ours. i had heard raves about the food, which was very well prepared and delicious. I would go back there for the food, but, was really turned off by the waitress, Samantha, and, the owner. The waitress was helpful, but, when she brought our checks, I had one for my girlfriend and myself, and our friend had his own, something very strange happened. It was a little after 9:30 at night and I gave her a $100 bill for a check that was $43,35. She told me they did not have change and asked for something smaller. For the past hour and a half, I saw many people pay with cash, so, it seemed a bit strange. I did have a $50 and gave her that, plus the 35 cents. She took it and never asked me if I wanted change...very presumptuous of her!!! Candidly, had she brought me the $7 change, I was going to take it and give her a $10 bill. She also never brought me back any change. So, she lost out on a larger tip. Then, a few minutes later, she comes over and takes our glasses of water, but, I was still drinking from mine and it was in my hand! I didn't say anything and we left. After we got home, I sent an Email to the owner, Daniel. Now three days later, I have not heard from him. So, there are other Greek restaurants in the area and we will go there. Had Samantha acted a bit more responsibly and respectfully, and, the owner had the courtesy to reply, we would become regular customers, as this was our first visit there. It is now January 26th, and the owner never replied to my Email. Obviously, he does not care about his customers. Bad businessman!

This is one of the first restaurants that I have gone to based solely on Yelp reviews, and Greek Bistro did not disappoint! The inside is quite small, but cozy. We had made reservations and were sat promptly. Our server was attentive, but unobtrusive, which I like. We ordered the falafel appetizer, and also had the fresh hummus and pita that is served complimentary. The falafel is the best I have ever had!! It was hot and fresh, and an ample portion. My husband ordered a gyro, and I ordered a chicken dish (I don't like seafood or lamb). We both opted for the starter Greek salad, which was delicious! We gobbled it up. Our entrees arrived. My husband was raving about his gyro, which did look quite good. My chicken was good, but nothing to rave about. I don't hold this against Greek Bistro, however, as I'm sure they're not known for their chicken. It definitely was not subpar, by any means. By this time, we were full, so we declined dessert. Our tab, which also included two greek beers, came to about $45! I was impressed. We will most definitely be back next time we visit.

As a first generation Greek I have been disappointed numerous times by "Greek" restaurants in South Florida, make NO MISTAKE about it that place is the real deal. Portion sizes are ridiculously huge, the ingredients are fresh, the service is top shelf, everything about the Greek Bistro lays claim to it being a first class eatery. If you like Mediterranean food, lots of it, done right in a comfortable environment you'll love the Greek Bistro as much as I do!!

Excellent Greek food!!! The waiter was super nice and helpful in making menu suggestions. The zucchini fritters were crispy, golden brown and had a wonderful melt-in-your-mouth quality, with the delicious flavor of tangy feta. The gyro platter was very tasty and the plate was heaped high with tender slices of meat. The lamb kebob was super flavorful and served with a generous portion of yummy lemony potatoes, rice and veggies. We will definitely return soon - with a group!

After several visits I must say I'm not impressed. Last night went with 7 work colleagues. At 5:30, the place was practically empty. Yet several of us were served wrong sides, wrong dressings etc. For example, I ordered Gyro Platter. It's already kind of weird that this platter is nothing but about half a pound of that sliced processed meat and a huge pile of French Fries. So I asked for alternate sides, waiter suggested vegetables, I asked for that, got fries. Another one of our group had a major problem with her entree. She sent it back after eating just one or two bites, she'd already had apps and didn't even ask for a replacement. When it appeared on the check, the chef/manager (white hair) came out and was very confrontational with our group - who were all VERY polite. He did not take it off. A dumb mistake considering he's now got at least 8 people that will never go here again. Rude and arrogant treatment from management. Avoid.

You could easily miss this place in between the Pancake House and Burger King. Good reviews online brought me in and I am glad I found it. There are no shortages of Greek restaurants in South Florida, but finding a good one can be tough. On a Monday at 5pm the restaurant was completely empty. By 6pm it was starting to fill up. There were plenty of staff to serve us, and at least 2 of them did. They immediately brought hot pita slices with fresh Hummus. I had the chicken Souvlaki which was huge and fresh tasting. Although not an option on the menu, they substituted rice for the offered fries without a problem. It came with a little tiny side of Tzatziki. They could have been a little more generous, and it came in a little plastic container with a lid. Kinda strange for a dine in situation. The salad dressing was the same. My drink was never empty. The food was great, hot, and quick. I found the restaurant to be very clean and modern, although not too fancy. The pricing was great, the menu was diverse. I really liked the salad dressing, although they could have thrown a bit more lettuce into the salad. My companion ordered the alternative, Lemon soup of which they brought a giant bowl. They said it was great. I also enjoyed the salad. What else can you ask for? Give it a try if you want to go greek.

Excellent!!! We had a great time here and had the best service! The food was excellent and we LOVED the atmosphere! It is a very classy little place with beautiful We did not expect the food nor service to be this great and were on our way out of town and just wanted a gyro. Everything was perfect and we loved the baklava!

The Eats: My new favorite crush! I love this place. I saw it on my drive to work today and thought I have to try it for dinner tonight. Coming from Detroit, I am spoiled with Greek food (and so is my partner who studied abroad in Greece). We are always dissapointed with Greek food in other places and we hadn't found our new hit fav until tonight! The GREEK SALAD was fresh and yummy. Decent dressing with good feta. The GRAPE LEAVES were the best I have ever had. Right out of the oven, stuffed to the brim with rice and ground beef, and covered with a lemon/dill sauce. Amazing. The GYRO my boyfriend ordered was spot on and a full meal for $6. The AVAGALEMENO SOUP (chicken lemon rice) was the best I have ever had. Not too thick or hot yellow, perfect amount of sour, chicken soupy tasting with some carrots too, addicting. The LAMB MEATBALLS are heaven on earth. Fried to a crunchy perfection but the meat still melted in my mouth (which was cooled by Tzedziki). We also ordered FRIED ZUCCHINI slices. Like chips, but better. Thin slices of battered tasty goodness. I want to go back for breakfast. See you soon, my new bffs! The Experience: Cute ambiance. Greek photos and art on the wall, candles on table, dressier feel with not so dressy prices! The staff was amazing, friendly, and helpful. I also loved the music playing. Cute and quaint to the T. The Damage: For way too much food, we spent $30 for 2 people. Cheap for a nice restaurant.

Three words: DELICIOUS FLAMING CHEESE. Isn't that all you really need to know? OK, it's good to know that you should make a reservation, as this place does fill up. You should also know that I went with a group of six people, and each one of us raved about so much of the food here! (The Greek salad was the only disappointment.) The saganaki was amazing, the skordalia was to die for, the Tirokafteri was finger-licking good, the Avgolemono was good to the last drop, and the gyro was scrumptious. The only oddness was the server that we had, who was a nice enough guy but would not stop talking. HIs talk was all praise of the restaurant, but still, it got to the level of annoying. So go for the delicious food, and if you have to, gag the waiter.

As previous reviewers mentioned, this is an easy place to pass by. Loving Greek food though, we found it on Yelp and decided to give it a try. We visited early (about 5 pm) on a Friday evening and we initially thought it was closed, but its just the reflective glass that makes it hard to tell if they are open during the day. We were quickly greeted and ordered a bottle of their Sauvignon Blanc. The waiter said the wine list was old and they no longer carried it, but to try the Chardonnay as it was very similar. This seemed like a bad start as they are two totally different wines, but he offered to bring over samples of a few whites and explained that their Greek wines are far more dry, etc. He was a good server and I thought this was a nice touch. We went with the Chardonnay. Then he quickly brought out a basket with warm, herbed pita bread and fresh hummus. Both were good. We ordered an Avogolemeno Soup, a side of Skordalia and a Greek Salad with Gyro. All items arrived quickly and were fresh. The soup was a little thicker than usual, but my guest enjoyed it. The skordalia was rich, thick and creamy and the gyro was very well seasoned. Our only minor complaint was that the salad dressing and sauces were given to us in plastic take-away cups. Why? It costs more to use, isn't very green and doesn't add to the look / service, etc ... Anyway, we had a leisurely early dinner and never felt rushed. The restaurant started to fill up about 6 pm and everyone was greeted warmly by attentive staff. Overall I enjoyed it, but I couldn't help but compare it to one of my favorite Greek restaurants (My Big Fat Greek Restaurant in Hollywood). Although that place is very busy and the decor is cheezy, they have phenomenal authentic food. I missed the fresh lemons and olive oil that they offer on the table to jazz up your spreads and meal and was never asked if we wanted coffee or dessert before the check was dropped. Nothing major, but they could have probably sold us on a few espressos and baklava. No major issues, fresh food and very clean so we'll definitely be back to try other menu items.

I've passed by this place for years, stopping at the Original Pancake House next door many times. Saw the good reviews & decided to try it. We were there in October, even though it was the off season, it was a good thing I made reservations. The place was packed. It's understandable why. Authentic, tasty Greek food at reasonable prices for the Delray Beach area. We started off with the flaming Saganaki & the appetizer dip combo, both very good. I remember the entrees were good, but can't remember what we had. We shared 3 entrees for 4 of us, and had some leftover. The waitress was very pleasant & helpful, and we found our experience here enjoyable.

Had the BEST FALAFEL GYRO EVER here!!!! OMG haven't had such a perfectly made falafel ever I would have eaten it plain...but had that with the regular gyro sauce instead of how it came and I was very pleased. We had take out 3 gyros 1-falafel, 1-chicken & 1-beef everyone was more than pleased with them and especially how they were wrapped made it easy to eat! Only disappointment was their fries not that many or that good & the Greek salad side wasn't the best. But a must go for gyros!! Next time I'm eating there - the place looks cute and perfect for date night!

5 stars is not enough for this fine establishment. Coming from Long Island, I thought I have had the best Greek cuisine, and I would blend ingredients bought from multiple restaurants to make the ultimate gyro. No need with this place. The chicken is grilled to perfection, juicy, and served alongside a garden variety of the crispest and tastiest of vegetables. The hummus should be sold by the jar! I couldn't believe something so simple could be so unforgettable, with its rich, hearty texture, and just the right balance of fresh chic peas pureed into a heavenly mixture that melts in your mouth. Not being a lamb-eater myself, I tried a piece off a friend's plate, and all I could envision when the flavor hit my mouth was being on a busy sidewalk on a Saturday night with the delicious aroma of this wafting through air, and going "I gotta have that!"...so I wait 30 minutes ready to eat in the packed line of this bustling food stand only to discover it even tasted better than it smelled. There will not be too much guesswork necessary to determine what I'll be having next time. The best part; you don't have to wait in line, it is a cozy restaurant, and the service is impeccable. Waiter, Jimmy (Ask for him!) served us, and the only way to describe him was cool as can be. For a place that has great prices, he made us feel like we were dining at one of the most exclusive restaurants around. If you want Greek food that will floor you, that will not break the bank, this is the place to be.

My reviews tend to be too long so am going to try to encapsulate this from last night. Points: 1) Awesome appetizers - we ordered the cold platter. Quantity wise it was more than suffiicient for 4 people but not enough bread. We asked for more and got exactly two more pieces per person. An instance in which (there are others) a little more generosity would have gone a much longer way. 2) Absolutely delicious chicken soup - a good sized portion. I should have stopped eating at this point. 3) I ordered the chicken Yuvetsi. I couldn't finish more than a quarter of it. It was ok, kind of watery at the bottom. One of the few times I've eaten something in a restaurant and knew for a fact that I have made the same dish much better. I didn't expect it to be baked. 4) The extra condiments - balsamic, tzatziki , etc. were served in the same tiny plastic cups. The 2nd instance of stinginess as first mentioned above. 5) The place closed at 9 and we were one of 2 parties still there right before closing time. 8:30 or so we had finished. We were obviously waiting for someone to come, get the food to go, etc. No one came until 20 minutes later. No one offered coffee or dessert and it was clear that they wanted us to leave. 6) All in all, it was a wonderful birthday dinner that I really enjoyed - an enjoyment only slightly diminished by the advent of the entrees. I would not go again though - there are several other better Greek places out there.

Good food, manager needs more common sense and skill in dealing with customers. Our family went there in late june, including my young daughter who is a fussy eater. While I understand that management was uncomfortable letting her bring in something that was not available on the menu, there was no effort to accomodate her, culminating in the manager's statement that this is fine dining, not a family restaurant. What a pretentious comment. The waiter, however, exercised more judgement than his boss and accomodated us while my daughter had to eat kids type food in the parking lot So food is good but do not bring children!

On our last visit to Florida my wife an I decided to have a late lunch/early dinner here at about 3:30pm on a weekday, hoping our 2 year old son wouldn't bother anybody. When we got there it was empty. No one but us, perfect. Few minutes later a group of four come in and they sit them at the table next to us. WTF. On to the food. They brought out complimentary pita and tzatziki which was warm and yummy. We got an app of spanakopita, I ordered Bifteki for my meal and my wife got the Salmon fillet. The spanakopita was awesome, some of the best I've had. It was large and rectangular and stuffed with feta and spinach. My Bifteki just ok. I've had better. My wife was not happy with her fish. It had no flavor and her veggies didn't taste fresh she said they tasted like the frozen veggies she puts in her omelets. We will be looking to try another greek place next time we are in Boca.

this is top notch greek cuisine. it's a small place, but is very nice inside, and clean too. the prices are great for the quality AND quantity of food you get. the best thing to do is go here with a group, that way you can order a bunch of different dishes and try everything, since it is all fantastic. start with hummus and pita, gigante beans in tomato sauce, dolmades (grape leaves), and saganaki (flaming cheese with ouzo). then move on to the spanakopita, keftedes (greek meatballs), and souvlaki. the salads are delicious too. i can't stop eating here!

So, I'm Greek. Very Greek... Greek Bistro is good food but more so a great Greek experience. Many Greek restaurants overlook the importance of delivering the Greek culture to their patrons. Greek Bistro did that and more. My husband (not Greek) and children and I have been sampling Greek restaurants in the area for quite a few years. This is the first time we could say it was "all good". Angela, our server, and her trainees were warm, hospitable and very eager to deliver a great evening out. We sampled saganaki, keftedes, and marides for our first course. All were very well presented. Our dinner selections included, Greek souvlaki, Spanakopita, Mousaka, Papoutsakia and Chicken Souvlaki platter. All were well prepared and delicious. Desert was a tasting of Galaktobouriko, Karithopita and Kantaifi, Oh and let me not forget the Greek coffee from which Angela did a cup reading for three of the gentlemen in our party. My selfish side does not want to share this information for fear that our next trip to Greek Bistro would be crowded and compromised. However, they deserve acknowledgement for a job well done.

Took my wife there last night. It's a small, 15 table restaurant, well lit, clean. Quick service, we were seated and promptly asked for our drink orders. We ordered the Greek merlot and a greek pinot grigio, both were good. We indulged with 2 appetizers, calamari and octopus(which is my favorite greek food). Both came and both were very good, the octo was excellent and I have had it a number of places including Greece..it was right up there. For mains we ordered the seafood combo and the lamb kebob. Large portions, nicely done. The lamb was juicy not dry as is usual in most greek joints. My wife really enjoyed the seafood preparation as it came in a clay pot which kept warm throughout the meal. We'll be back for sure.

Avoid.

Service was fanastic... I felt like I knew these people for years.. The Greek soup... excellent! Warm grilled pitas with FRESH, I mean FRESH hummus... excellent starter! I just have a GReek Salad, which I wound up taking 1/2 home for lunch the next day... ALL FRESH, and delicious dressing...Michael ordered the salad with Grilled chicken.. the chicken was delicious! really... juicy, and A LOT of it! I finished with homemade baklava... and coffee... both were excellent! The baklava was light, it was dripping with honey.. and FANTASTIC....This place is sure to please all!

What a great surprise. By 630 the place was packed. By 7 a line at the door. Wonderful food and super large portions. House red wine was full bodied and delicious. Make reservations!

Been to Greece several times and nothing there was better than this. Absolutely everything was excellent. We had the meatballs, octopus. and grilled snapper. Could not have been better. Great staff nice surroundings, very fair pricing. An all round great experience.

Really good food! Service was great! Went there for lunch and the food came out really fast. I was also impressed by the waitress and how they constantly made sure we were okay. Will def go back!! I had the gyro wrap and fries. Delicious!

Avoid.

The food was delicious & the service was great! Several appetizers, one shared entree between two of us and dessert was plenty and $40!! And there were enough leftovers for my dinner the following evening. Highly recommend this restaurant.

The aesthetic presentation is chic and the food is delicious. The baklava is homemade, which is becoming more and more of a rarity. I broke my diet seven ways to Sunday here, but it was worth it. Warning: generous portion sizes ahead.

Very pleased with dinner. Nice staff & really good food. We had the zucchini fritters -- delicious! That along with the avgolemono soup -- yummy is all I need to say. Main courses were the pastichio & the pork souvlaki -- the former was good but the latter was XLNT! We will certainly return

Greek food is a fine melody of the finest pressed olive oil, fresh fermented bread, colorful vegetables, juicy meat, sea food all cooked in spices and fresh rosemary. The people from Greek were great scholars who aimed to excel in everything they do. The results are quite visible in their food as they are the inventors of olive oil which is beneficial to health. Greeks also made different type of wines from the best quality of grapes fermented in controlled environment.
Today, you can find hundreds of restaurants offering authentic Greek food or popularly termed as Mediterranean cuisine in New York city alone. People wait in line to taste the exotic Greek dishes like saganaki, taramasalata, souvlaki, loukoumades, spanakopita, moussaka, and many more. One thing which most people like about these authentic Greek dishes is abundant use of lemon juice, olive oil, fresh rosemary and sea salt. A smart mix of few ingredients can virtually take you on the pebble streets of beautiful city of Greece.
For those who don't have time to enjoy fine dining should try tasting the famous souvlaki with pita which is type of meat dish, also a trademark Greek fast food. For those who are vegetarian, or vegan can try different versions of Greek Salad. So, if you wish to enjoy a hearty yet healthy meal that tastes divine then try dining at the best Greek restaurant in your city. Greek cuisine not only tastes good but also help maintain your body in a natural way through healthy diet.

(5)Tony R.
Eat here about once a week. Small and cozy. Love the lemon soup. You got to try it! Prices fair. Great for lunch or early dinner. I like the chicken platter. Everything is good that i have tried. Check it out for yourself.
(5)Jamie C.
(4)DJ B.
(5)Hiram G.
(3)Jane E.
(5)Erica L.
(4)Ron D.
The food was good, but they need to make sure that insects and hair do not get to the foods they bring to the table. I went there for lunch and experienced a insect and hair in the hummus. So, i had the lunch special and it was ok. Sorry, I am not coming back...
(1)JULIE G.
(3)Steve S.
(1)Rocco A.
(5)Steven S.

Service was slapdash. Food was bland and needed more herbs and spices. Have had great Greek food and this wasn't it.
(3)Ty A.
A definite YES!! Delicious, fresh, affordable and prompt service. Just added to my faves ;)
(5)Scott S.

Great food. Great service. We will be back...We had a party of 12. Sat together in a nice relaxing, clean atmosphere.

Went for lunch about a week ago with some family. Staff were quite friendly and nice. Food was extremely tasty and I had so much left over I didn't have to worry about dinner. Very nice greek salad and loved the eggplant.
(4)alexis b.
(5)Sumit R.

Strong Greek cuisine showing. Huge servings. Very fresh ingredients. Perfect seasoning. Attentive service. I recommend the village salad with grilled chicken...feeds a civil large alright. Something for everyone. Heat local spot.

Tasty lightly fried smelt is yummyyy :) Delicious food, great service, and reasonable prices.A definite YES!
(4)Diane Z.
Great GYros! My favorite around the area for sure. Amazing sauces. They also give hummus and pita bread while you wait for your food which is delicious.
(5)Paul D.

(5)Elle A.

Avoid.

Finally. A greek resaturant in south florida that has stuffed tomatoes and peppers!!!!! And to make it better, its in my backyard.
(5)Jon L.

(5)Ryan L.
This is some of the best Greek food I've experienced in South Florida. We always get the chicken pita wraps, Greek salads and tzatziki. You won't be disappointed!
(5)Laura H.
(4)Irene M.
There is much better Greek food in the area. The quality of the food was not what we expected. We did not find the dishes to be authentic.
(2)Mizz V.
(3)Athey G.
It not a true authentic Greek restaurant but it will do. Food tasty portions are big service was ok. Not great ambiance.
(3)Steven G.
(4)Erika B.
(4)Lisa M.
Good food & wine, good service, good prices. Try it you'll like it!
(4)Steve A.
Great food and good portions. The Greek salad with chicken makes a great lunch for two. All of the food I've had has been terrific.
(5)Jimmy M.

(2)Andrew S.
(3)Amanda M.
Really good food! Service was great! Went there for lunch and the food came out really fast. I was also impressed by the waitress and how they constantly made sure we were okay. Will def go back!! I had the gyro wrap and fries. Delicious!
(4)Raluca T.
We discovered this place totally by accident and we fell in love immediately. Very good food, wines, beer. Decent prices and a lot of food for the money!
(5)Daniella G.
The food was delicious & the service was great! Several appetizers, one shared entree between two of us and dessert was plenty and $40!! And there were enough leftovers for my dinner the following evening. Highly recommend this restaurant.
(4)GM D.
(5)Saul E.
My favorite place in all of Delray. Great food, incredible service, a place to go more than once a week. Our third year coming and have never been disappointed.
(5)Mark B.
The aesthetic presentation is chic and the food is delicious. The baklava is homemade, which is becoming more and more of a rarity. I broke my diet seven ways to Sunday here, but it was worth it. Warning: generous portion sizes ahead.
(5)marisa c.
(4)Dani B.
Fantastic chicken soup and gyros! Very clean, fresh, and flavorful! The waitstaff and owner are always SO nice and the restaurant is always clean and orderly. Absolutely the best Greek I've had in South Florida.
(5)Jobi B.
(2)Steve S.
this is top notch greek cuisine. it's a small place, but is very nice inside, and clean too. the prices are great for the quality AND quantity of food you get. the best thing to do is go here with a group, that way you can order a bunch of different dishes and try everything, since it is all fantastic. start with hummus and pita, gigante beans in tomato sauce, dolmades (grape leaves), and saganaki (flaming cheese with ouzo). then move on to the spanakopita, keftedes (greek meatballs), and souvlaki. the salads are delicious too. i can't stop eating here!
(5)Helen P.
(5)Mark R.
What a great surprise. By 630 the place was packed. By 7 a line at the door. Wonderful food and super large portions. House red wine was full bodied and delicious. Make reservations!
(5)frank w.
Been to Greece several times and nothing there was better than this. Absolutely everything was excellent. We had the meatballs, octopus. and grilled snapper. Could not have been better. Great staff nice surroundings, very fair pricing. An all round great experience.
(5)Rich B.

The lemon/chicken soup was the best ever.....good service and good gyros.......will go back for sure!!!

Really good food! Service was great! Went there for lunch and the food came out really fast. I was also impressed by the waitress and how they constantly made sure we were okay. Will def go back!! I had the gyro wrap and fries. Delicious!
(4)Elle A.

Avoid.

Finally. A greek resaturant in south florida that has stuffed tomatoes and peppers!!!!! And to make it better, its in my backyard.
(5)Dani B.
Fantastic chicken soup and gyros! Very clean, fresh, and flavorful! The waitstaff and owner are always SO nice and the restaurant is always clean and orderly. Absolutely the best Greek I've had in South Florida.

(2)Steve S.
this is top notch greek cuisine. it's a small place, but is very nice inside, and clean too. the prices are great for the quality AND quantity of food you get. the best thing to do is go here with a group, that way you can order a bunch of different dishes and try everything, since it is all fantastic. start with hummus and pita, gigante beans in tomato sauce, dolmades (grape leaves), and saganaki (flaming cheese with ouzo). then move on to the spanakopita, keftedes (greek meatballs), and souvlaki. the salads are delicious too. i can't stop eating here!

(5)Mark R.

We'll be back for sure.

The lemon/chicken soup was the best ever.....good service and good gyros.......will go back for sure!!!

Went for lunch about a week ago with some family. Staff were quite friendly and nice. Food was extremely tasty and I had so much left over I didn't have to worry about dinner. Very nice greek salad and loved the eggplant.
(4)alexis b.
(5)Scott B.

Good food & wine, good service, good prices. Try it you'll like it!

(5)Steve A.
Great food and good portions. The Greek salad with chicken makes a great lunch for two. All of the food I've had has been terrific.
(5)Raluca T.
(4)GM D.
(5)Jamie C.
(4)DJ B.
(5)Amy G.
(5)Kimberly B.
(5)Steve S.
(1)Rocco A.
(5)Steven S.
This just didn't do it for me... Everything was okay but just okay. There are other Greek restaurants in the area that I think are better and have a nicer atmosphere. I'm not saying the food was bad but just not up to par.
(3)Tara D.
(4)Judy C.
Always happy with the service here. Nick is a great waiter. I think that's his name. Food is so much better than the Kebob house around here.
(5)Tony R.
Eat here about once a week. Small and cozy. Love the lemon soup. You got to try it! Prices fair. Great for lunch or early dinner. I like the chicken platter. Everything is good that i have tried. Check it out for yourself.
(5)Hiram G.
(3)Jane E.
(5)Erica L.
(4)Ron D.
The food was good, but they need to make sure that insects and hair do not get to the foods they bring to the table. I went there for lunch and experienced a insect and hair in the hummus. So, i had the lunch special and it was ok. Sorry, I am not coming back...
(1)JULIE G.

(5)Sumit R.

Service was slapdash. Food was bland and needed more herbs and spices. Have had great Greek food and this wasn't it.
(3)Ty A.
A definite YES!! Delicious, fresh, affordable and prompt service. Just added to my faves ;)
(5)Scott S.

It not a true authentic Greek restaurant but it will do. Food tasty portions are big service was ok. Not great ambiance.
(3)Steven G.

Great food. Great service. We will be back...We had a party of 12. Sat together in a nice relaxing, clean atmosphere.
(5)Ryan L.
This is some of the best Greek food I've experienced in South Florida. We always get the chicken pita wraps, Greek salads and tzatziki. You won't be disappointed!
(5)Hope P.

(5)JULIE G.

(1)Amy G.
(5)Kimberly B.
(5)Judy C.
(5)Jamie C.
(4)DJ B.
(5)Hiram G.
(3)Jane E.

(4)Ron D.
The food was good, but they need to make sure that insects and hair do not get to the foods they bring to the table. I went there for lunch and experienced a insect and hair in the hummus. So, i had the lunch special and it was ok. Sorry, I am not coming back...
(1)Rocco A.
(5)Steven S.
This just didn't do it for me... Everything was okay but just okay. There are other Greek restaurants in the area that I think are better and have a nicer atmosphere. I'm not saying the food was bad but just not up to par.
(3)Tara D.

Went for lunch about a week ago with some family. Staff were quite friendly and nice. Food was extremely tasty and I had so much left over I didn't have to worry about dinner. Very nice greek salad and loved the eggplant.
(4)alexis b.
(5)Jody A.
Strong Greek cuisine showing. Huge servings. Very fresh ingredients. Perfect seasoning. Attentive service. I recommend the village salad with grilled chicken...feeds a civil large alright. Something for everyone. Heat local spot.
(4)Kubilay Y.
(5)Laura H.
(4)Irene M.
There is much better Greek food in the area. The quality of the food was not what we expected. We did not find the dishes to be authentic.
(2)Bruce J.

(5)Fauzia I.

(4)Jenn K.
Excellent!!! We had a great time here and had the best service! The food was excellent and we LOVED the atmosphere! It is a very classy little place with beautiful We did not expect the food nor service to be this great and were on our way out of town and just wanted a gyro. Everything was perfect and we loved the baklava!
(5)GM D.

(2)Steve S.
this is top notch greek cuisine. it's a small place, but is very nice inside, and clean too. the prices are great for the quality AND quantity of food you get. the best thing to do is go here with a group, that way you can order a bunch of different dishes and try everything, since it is all fantastic. start with hummus and pita, gigante beans in tomato sauce, dolmades (grape leaves), and saganaki (flaming cheese with ouzo). then move on to the spanakopita, keftedes (greek meatballs), and souvlaki. the salads are delicious too. i can't stop eating here!

(5)Rich B.
(5)Roger A.
The lemon/chicken soup was the best ever.....good service and good gyros.......will go back for sure!!!
(5)Jimmy M.

Really good food! Service was great! Went there for lunch and the food came out really fast. I was also impressed by the waitress and how they constantly made sure we were okay. Will def go back!! I had the gyro wrap and fries. Delicious!

Avoid.

We discovered this place totally by accident and we fell in love immediately. Very good food, wines, beer. Decent prices and a lot of food for the money!

The food was delicious & the service was great! Several appetizers, one shared entree between two of us and dessert was plenty and $40!! And there were enough leftovers for my dinner the following evening. Highly recommend this restaurant.

My favorite place in all of Delray. Great food, incredible service, a place to go more than once a week. Our third year coming and have never been disappointed.

Fantastic chicken soup and gyros! Very clean, fresh, and flavorful! The waitstaff and owner are always SO nice and the restaurant is always clean and orderly. Absolutely the best Greek I've had in South Florida.

Great food and good portions. The Greek salad with chicken makes a great lunch for two. All of the food I've had has been terrific.

Service was slapdash. Food was bland and needed more herbs and spices. Have had great Greek food and this wasn't it.

A definite YES!! Delicious, fresh, affordable and prompt service. Just added to my faves ;)

Great food. Great service. We will be back...We had a party of 12. Sat together in a nice relaxing, clean atmosphere.

This is some of the best Greek food I've experienced in South Florida. We always get the chicken pita wraps, Greek salads and tzatziki. You won't be disappointed!

Strong Greek cuisine showing. Huge servings. Very fresh ingredients. Perfect seasoning. Attentive service. I recommend the village salad with grilled chicken...feeds a civil large alright. Something for everyone. Heat local spot.

Great GYros! My favorite around the area for sure. Amazing sauces. They also give hummus and pita bread while you wait for your food which is delicious.
(5)Irene M.
There is much better Greek food in the area. The quality of the food was not what we expected. We did not find the dishes to be authentic.
